In this African country time stands still, does not exist;
boundaries and barriers do not exist, only colours, fragrance and intense aromas. The fiery red of the sky at sunset or the golden yellow of the rising sun, the sound of the sea crashing over the reef, following the constant rhythm of the tides, the cool morning air while you walk through the bush of the savannah along the banks of the Galana river, discovering a world where the first human being was born. It is in this circle that the cycle of life begins again. After the disastrous beginning to the year when we were at the centre of world public opinion through the televised images of the events in some of Kenya’s cities and, successively, through the official communiqués of most of the European countries regarding restrictions and warnings about travelling to Kenya, our tourist situation has been characterized by mass cancellations of bookings and the consequent block of tourism for a few weeks. With the signing of the agreement on February 28, 2008 for the formation of a coalition government we are all hopeful that the sharing of political roles and power will permit a rapid recovery in the tourist-economic sector and will allow Kenya to regain her role as a politically stable state and to re-establish her image as one of the more economically prosperous states in Africa. We are now able once again to welcome tourists to this splendid African country and to offer them security and the certainty that they can enjoy their holiday in Kenya without any problems.
In order to promote Kenya to your clients as a holiday destination and, at the same time, to reconstruct her tourist image, we would like to propose some special offers as part of our promotional action to have clients come back to Kenya starting from June immediately after the rainy season (April/May). There are small exclusive campsites in private concessions and in national parks such as Tsavo West, Amboseli and Masai Mara where tourists can make photographic safaris on open, especially equipped jeeps designed to see life on the savannah from close up with specialized guides. Foot safaris, night safaris and visits to the authentic Masai villages are an integral part of the programme. Kenya is a splendid country where you can spend your holidays discovering landscapes and scenery that are unique in the world, travelling by jeep through the highlands of the Masai Mara, over the vast distances of the Tsavo or through the arid lands of the north towards Samburu; or, more simply, just relaxing in the shade of palm trees on the long beaches of fine white coral sand washed by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean with the choice of water sports such as scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurf or kite surf; or exploring the canals in the mangrove forests, a secret world of shadows and light, natural habitat of crocodiles and rare tropical birds….this is Kenya.
Attention all our partners, Tour Operators and clients.
